In India’s Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, district-level inter zonal tournament of 11 Zones, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Department commenced with much enthusiasm and precautions, keeping in mind the coronavirus outbreak.
The event is being held under the overall patronage of Dr. Saleem – Ul Rehman, Director General of the department and the supervision of S. Swarn Singh, District Youth Services & Sports officer (DYSSO) Udhampur at Delhi Public School (DPS) open playfield Chowgaon Majalta and Raja Ram Singh Stadium Ramnagar.
In continuation of the activity, football competitions for all age groups – boys were conducted in which 378 students participated.
The DYSSO stressed upon to follow the standard operating procedures of COVID-19 issued by the government of India and the Jammu and Kashmir government from time to time.
Among others present were ZPEOs of concerned Zones, EO Ramnagar and students.
