## J&K: 4-day YSS district level cricket starts in Under 14, 17 & 19 category ##

In the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSSO), Srinagar began its inter-zonal level cricket tourney in Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 category for boys.
The tournament was played at different venues of Srinagar. The matches for U19, U17 and U14 boys were played at SP College playground, BHSS Zadibal playground and BHSS Sonawar playground, respectively.
The DYSS officer, Srinagar, Balbir Singh, along with other officials – ZPEO Eidgah Ghulam Qadir, activity in charge Muzaffar Ahmad – inaugurated the U17 boys’ tournament at BHSS Zadibal playground.
The DYSS officer on the spot checked the availability of sanitizers for players and officials.
In the Under-19 tournament, two matches were played in which zone Zaldagar defeated zone Hawal by 8 runs. For second match, zone Amira Kadal was awarded a walkover against zone Eidgah.
Two matches were played in the under-17 tournament, in which zone Gulbagh defeated zone Zaldagar by 69 runs in the first match and zone Amirakdal defeated zone Rainawari in the second match by 124 runs.
In the under-14 cricket tournament, two matches were played in which zone Hawal beat zone Rainawari by 50 runs. And in the second match, zone Amirakadal defeated Gulabbagh by 29 runs.
